Support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at West Didsbury CE Primary School.
At West Didsbury CE, our aim is to help your child achieve the very best they can at school. We want everyone to feel that they belong to the school; we want everyone to believe in themselves and support each other; and we want everyone to become well-rounded individuals who achieve their best for society. To do this we work in close partnership with parents and carers - you know your child best and you may feel that your child requires additional help or support for some of their time at school. Not all children will need extra support with their learning but the progress of all children at West Didsbury CE is monitored closely to ensure support is provided where necessary.
The SEND Information Report below will inform you of the types of support available for your child at West Didsbury CE Primary School. This information will help you understand who can help and how the support can be accessed. The SEND Policy, also below, outlines in greater detail how we support pupils with SEND. Our SEND Identification Procedure will show you how staff identify children with additional needs and how this would be communicated to you.
