Learning Support Assistant (3 vacancies)

We are looking for 3 Learning Support Assistants to support individuals with additional needs. Please apply here.

 

Teaching Assistants (2 vacancies - 1x full time and 1x 3 day)

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to support the Reception team. We have 2 classes of 30 children in our Reception cohort 

1 role will be five days a week and the other role will be Wednesday - Friday, both in Reception classes.
 
The roles would be to facilitate the learning needs of the children in the classroom working alongside the  Reception staff team. The roles are to support the educational, emotional and physical needs of the individuals as well as supporting the teaching team in a range of tasks to support the delivery of the Early Years curriculum to individuals, small groups, as well as  whole class delivery. The successful candidates would be required to liaise with the class teacher, EYFS lead and LSAs  to make sure that  provision for the children is the  best that it can be.  
 
About the Candidates 

We are looking for dedicated and committed team players who take pride in their work, people who will support others and work together as a team as well as people prepared to take initiative. 

A caring, supportive person who enjoys working with children and who is adaptable to the  spontaneity of young children will suit this role very well. The candidate needs to be  be someone who understands the development of young children and fully understands the demands of working in the Early years resulting in pride and pleasure at the impact your support can have on their development.  Experience of the Early Years curriculum , including the teaching of Phonics would be beneficial 

Working with children within a school setting is demanding, but is very rewarding and we can offer you a supportive team who work in a setting based on Christian values and our children thrive in our setting because of the dedication of the team that work around the children. 

Experience in working in the Early Years is desirable.

The above post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
